Del cielo cayó una gota de agua con el poder de disolver estatuas. Muchas gotas bajaron sin tregua y a la niña mojaron su enagua. Por el río recorrieron leguas y paseamos en nuestra piragua.

From the sky fell a drop of water with the power to dissolve statues. Many drops came down relentlessly and to the girl wet her petticoat. Miles they traveled down the river and we traveled in our canoe.
